“ I think it’s a great idea. If people weren’t too ignorant, they should know that park 51 (The Islamic Cultural Center) has a memorial place for those whose lives were lost on 911. Muslims are people who care for others. You can’t blame an entire religion based on a few really stupid and misguided people.”

“Yes I believe that Arab people should be allowed to worship in the new Mosque. They need to understand that Americans such as myself have nothing against their culture. All our anger is among the individuals who attacked the Towers and killed so many people.”

Movie Review:The Social Network Tenzing Dawa

Unless you have been living in a cave, you must know about Facebook. If you don’t, which I doubt, there is a movie called “The Social Network” about the creation of Facebook. If you do know about Facebook and use it every single day like most of us do, you will learn about the fascinating and tumultuous process that now helps you stay connected with your “friends.”

The Social Network is told from the perspective of three people, Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg), Eduardo Saverin(Andrew Garfield), and Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss(Armie Hammer and Josh Pence). In this movie there is no clear protagonist or antagonist. Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, claim that they are the ones who came up with the Idea of Facebook, and that Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea. But Zuckerberg says that he had a better idea and that it was the Facebook. Eduardo Saverin, is the co- creator of the Facebook, and he is the one that spends most o the money for this website.

The movie starts off with Mark being dumped by his girlfriend. Mark gets really mad he starts to talk about her on his blog. Then he starts to rate girls on “FaceMash” from Harvard, which he attends, and it becomes a hit. The fact that he created it in one night really impresses the Winklevoss twins. When they hear more about Mark they ask his to help them create a website, Harvard Connection. Later on in the movie he asks his friend, Eduardo to help him. Mark has an idea for a better website and he calls it The Facebook. This idea expands all the way to Yale, Stanford and Colombia. With the help of one of Eduardo’s girlfriend they meet the founder of Napster, Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake).

The Winklevoss twins finds out that they are not a part of the Facebook and decides to sue Mark. When Eduard finds out that Mark and Sean reduced his share of the company he also decides to sue Mark. In the end of the movie the lawyer says that Eduardo Saverin will most likely win this case.The movie ends with Mark sending his ex-girlfriend, a friend request.

Overall I thought that this was a really good move. It is totally worth watching. It gives us a sense of how the website that we all know and love was created.

In Hip Hop there's Eminem or Slim Shady but rightfully Marshall Bruce Mather the third. he was born on October 17, 1972 in Saint Joesph, Missouri. The only child to Deborah Nelson Mather-Briggs and Marshall Bruce Mather Jr. Eminem is Scottish, English, German, Swiss and Polish. At 18 month old his father abandoned him. At 12 him and his mother moved from Saint Joesph to Savannah then Kansas City before settling in Warren, Michigan. At age 14 he preformed under the hidden name "M&M" and joined a group called Bassit Production and later changed there title to Soul Intent. Even when he was in Lincoln High School he still performed in freestyle battles at the now defunct Osburn High School at Detroit East side. He also gained popularity form the Underground Hip hop audience.He repeated 9Th grade due to a truancy and never had failing grades. later he dropped out at 17.At 19 his Uncle Ronald "Ronnie" Nelson committed suicide by shotgun to his head. Eminem was very close to him. Eminem raised in 1996 and still counties his career.





Also in Hip Hop there is Shawn Corey Carter better known as Jay-Z or Jazzy. He was born on December 4, 1969 in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. At the age of 12 his father abandoned him. Jay-Z attended Eli Whitney high school-with rapper AZ. Then attended George Westinghouse for career and technical education high school-with B.I.G and Busta Rhymes. Then Trenton Central High School but he didn't graduate. At an early age Jay-Z showned interest in music. Also he would freestyle, write lyrics and follow music of many artist. Now i guess everyone follow his music as he did once others.







Next is Young Money Entertainment found in 2005 made by Cash Money Record. as Lil' Wayne there CEO. Lil' Wayne or Dwayne Micheal Carter Jr was born on September 27, 1982. he grew up in Hollygrove, New Orleans. his parents divorced when he was 2. he wrote is first rap at 8.



Aubrey Drake Graham or just Drake was born on October 24, 1984. he was born in Toronto, Ontario. He also played Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi.



Mack Maine or Jermaine Preyan was born on July 28, 1982 in New Orleans.



Nicki Minaj was born Onika Tonya Maraj on December 8,1984. as an Indian and African descended. she lived i Trinidad until 5 then moved to the Queens. Where she attend Elizabeth Blackwell middle school 210 and then LaGuardia High school.



Tyga or Micheal Stevenson was born on November 19,1989 in Compton, California.

Dear Piggy,
Guy troubles are very common in high school. The best way to confront this problem is to find something you both have in common. If you have the same classes ask him questions about the subject. If you do not have any classes with him, try talking to him at lunch. Compliment him on his eyes, shoes, or maybe even shirt. Always remember that being yourself and being friendly is key.

I totally get where you're coming from. Don't fret, its time to do some undercover work. I am not saying follow your boyfriend every where. But simply have him hang around you a bit more than usual. Slowly drop hints and if he seems suspicious come right out and ask him. He's going to say no of course. So then you ask his friends. If you can't get any answers out of them. Then ask around the school.

Dear FanGirl123X,
If they make you feel negatively then they are not true friends. You do not necessarily have to stop being their friends though. Simply surround yourself with more people who will make you smile. Try during lunch, find a group of people who like the same things as you and become their friends. Having more than one group of friends really helps.
